One-to-One training
Not every dog is happy in a class training environment, perhaps the confines of a hall are not how your dog is best suited to learning. This could be due to lack of space, presence of too many other dogs or just that you feel you would be happier learning in a one-to-one setting. I offer one-to-one training at a time and place to suit you. This means I can offer you real life training in your normal environment. It also allows for specific problems to be addressed, does your dog perhaps pull on the lead, jump up at strangers, not come back until they want to? All of these can be addressed in real situations to enable better results. Using reward based positive reinforcement training we can work at getting the behaviours you want from your dog. Ignore the bad stuff, reward the good stuff- dogs are intelligent and quickly learn what gets a reward. Behaviours do not change overnight but with practice and consistency you and your dog will form a happier partnership. There is a fixed price for the first session, follow up sessions if required are charged at a reduced rate. Please contact me for details. When we decided to get a Border Collie puppy we were really unprepared for such an intelligent dog. Nicole worked with us to understand his needs and gave us the tools and confidence to train him. Nicole has since become a close friend who we regularly turn to for help with Teddys ongoing training, her knowledge of canine psychology is invaluble.
